Who We Are
Pathfinder is the Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination (CRTEC) arm of the Harvard Cancer Consortium (HCC). Recognizing a significant gap in support and resources specifically addressing the needs of postdocs, clinical fellows and instructors, Pathfinder has concentrated its efforts on developing support for HCC-affiliated trainees.
Partnering with programs that serve high school, undergraduate, postbacc and graduate students interested in pursuing careers in cancer research as well as member institution postdoc offices and associations, Pathfinder aims to improve access to educational and funding resources and support career development and transitions, thus helping a diverse new generation of basic, clinical and population scientists launch successful and impactful cancer research careers.
Our Welcome Packet offers a great place to begin learning about and accessing all the resources available for early-stage cancer researchers across the HCC.
