Research Abstract

My lab studies basic and translational aspects of thyroid cancer genetics and biology. We are particularly interested in elucidating the biological mechanisms of specific genomic alterations in thyroid cancer evolution and disease progression, with a focus on the roles of the non-coding genome and transcriptional deregulation. To this end, we employ a variety of techniques in human samples, cancer cell systems and animal models.
