Research Abstract

My research focuses on advancing exposomics and multi-omics approaches to investigate environmental factors in cancer etiology and prevention. I leverage high-resolution mass spectrometry and bioinformatics methods to characterize the chemical and/or biological exposome, conduct exposome-wide association studies, and integrate exposomics with other -omics data. Current projects include investigating environmental carcinogens' impact on genome-wide DNA methylation and cancer risk and exploring chemical exposomics in cancer disparities. Our long-term goal is to advance our understanding of environmental contributions to cancer, identify novel biomarkers and intervention targets, and inform prevention strategies for various cancers.
