Research Abstract

My research focuses on the development of statistical methods to identify environmental determinants of cancer. Key areas of methodological interest are causal inference, Bayesian methods, spatio-temporal models, and machine learning. I have developed and used these tools to investigate environmental causes of cancer in both big data (population studies) and small data (single community studies). My recent work includes the development of a causal inference framework for cancer cluster investigations.
