Research Abstract

My lab uses biochemical and cell biological approaches to explore signal transduction pathways in the cells and tissues of the cardiovascular system. We are particularly focused on studying the roles of reactive oxygen species and of nitric oxide synthases in endothelial cells and cardiac myocytes in cardiovascular disease states, including heart failure, diabetes and atherosclerosis.
