HCC Faces of Faith at Boston City Hall

After being displayed in the Mayor’s Neighborhood Gallery at Boston City Hall since late September, the Faces of Faith exhibit concluded on November 1st, but not before a reception featuring comments by cancer survivors and several Boston city officials including Julia Mejia, City Councilor At Large, and Will Dickerson, Senior Advisor & Head of Faith-based Initiatives, Office of Community Engagement, City of Boston. Although the speaker’s perspectives were different, the notion of a cancer diagnosis as a beginning to a new phase of life, not an end, was clear. In attendance were several of the “Faces of Faith” themselves, in addition to family and friends.
