The Tumor Cartography Core: Helping You Map the Biology of Cancer

April 15, 2026

The Tumor Cartography Core helps investigators uncover the spatial biology of cancer and other diseases through advanced tissue-based technologies and expert scientific support. By revealing where cells, RNAs, and proteins are located within tissue, and how they interact, we enable researchers to better understand the biological networks driving disease and therapeutic response.

Our core offers a comprehensive, end-to-end pipeline that supports projects from sample preparation to advanced data analysis. Core services include tissue microarray (TMA) construction, biomarker staining for RNA and protein, high-resolution and super-resolution imaging, digital image analysis, and spatial multi-omics. Investigators have access to pre-developed chromogenic and multiplex fluorescence assays, whole-slide and confocal imaging, and advanced spatial profiling with Bruker GeoMx, Bruker CosMx, and 10x Genomics Xenium.

We can assist investigators at every stage of the workflow, helping investigators select the right methods, generate robust and reproducible data, and extract meaningful biological insight. Whether your study focuses on biomarker validation, tissue architecture, or single-cell spatial profiling, we are here to help maximize the impact of your research.
