The Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) team conducts community outreach and helps to connect Harvard Cancer Consortium (HCC) researchers and programs with community partners across the state on initiatives to increase access to cancer prevention, screening, and care.
The COE team facilitates cancer education and outreach to community groups and organizations across the state. We help to identify appropriate speakers, including health education outreach specialists, physicians, and other providers, to provide educational sessions on a cancer-related topic.

A Dana-Farber program led by Dr. Christopher Lathan that aims to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes among marginalized local communities and has become a national model for translating disparities research into clinical interventions.
A network that brings together HCC, faith-based organizations, and other health-focused organizations to develop, plan, and implement effective cancer prevention and health promotion programming in faith-communities across Greater Boston.
A Harvard University program focused on developing environments for team science and translational health to catalyze research across all domains.
The Kraft Center for Community Health at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is focused on leading innovation in community health.
An HCC resource for professional patient navigators and nurse navigators across HCC institutions and other institutions across Massachusetts that provides opportunities to share resources and best practices while supporting one another.
Through funded research projects, training, and community outreach, the Partnership aims to improve opportunities for students, fellows, and scientists in basic and population science and develop resources to improve health for all.
